I felt there was a wonderful contradiction between being devoted and hypocritical. and the girl seemed to convey that

*crickets chirp*............................. bit of an overkill on the explanation but that's okay. I mean, I understand what piety is just I didn't get the contradiction between devotion and being hypocritical.
