I have recieved a number of requests to make some of my work into prints or to use my work off site. I am truly flatered by the requests but have to decline.

My work uses stock that I do not own the intelectual copywrite on. Whilst the carte blanche that most stock artists on da give to use their work on site allows me to post the work in my gallery, It, often as not, does not extend to other sites and prints.

Although I'd never formed a request, and God knows that some of your work really deserves a print, I can't say anything but:
That what you just said is something that should every artist at

bear in his/her mind - every stockwork we use isn't ours by no means and our work that we do upon other people's hardworkingly made things isn't ours completely and making prints out of it would be humongous violation of many of their rights in a whole.

you are welcome. Glad that it made your day

its an awkward one for me, as I would love to make prints of some of my pieces. I love the idea of something that I have worked on being rated highly enough to be hanging on that persons wall. But I also respect the gift that is given everytime someone posts a piece of stock for me to use, And I fully intend to honour the wishes and rights of the people that post that stock
